Using an actor, actress, model, et cetera, is a common practice for roleplaying games. It allows people to have a visual idea of what a character looks like. If you are creating a character, you are welcome to choose anyone in the public realm as a played by - actor, actress, singer, model, et cetera. We do ask that you do not use anime characters as a played-by; they strain the suspension of disbelief.
