Rhouke has a pretty standard ‘Smith’ build, with a strong and well-built upper body from years of hammering away at all things smithy while his waist and legs are on the thinner side and long. He looks a bit awkward really, with his strong upper body and almost ‘chicken-leg’ like legs.
Dirty blonde with darker brown undertones.

He is obsessively meticulous about his things, where they are and who is touching them.

His things getting mixed up with others or being touched without asking; don’t touch his stuff. He will spaz. To the extent that he does his own laundry.

Dying a horrible death.
Thread; but who doesn’t?
...PERSONALITY...Rhouke is a kind of ‘all-over-the-place’ type of guy, with a fast way of speaking and a seeming need to be moving constantly. His mind seems to always be somewhere else when he’s being spoken to and he can be a bit difficult to deal with at times. He is pretty harmless honestly, though he can easily drive a person mad with his incredibly energetic state of life and rapid way in which he converses. But Rhouke is a pretty pleasant person and enjoys the company of others and enjoys a good joke and likes to play pranks. Granted he is pretty good at playing pranks on the wrong people, but nonetheless. He has been energetic since he was a child, seeming to gain his childish energy and never losing it even as he grew into a man. He also retained his fun-loving, responsibility-free attitude and view of the world, floating through life on a whim and keeping the only truly constant Smithing. He can be a great time to hang out with; so pleasant and open to new and fun things. It can be contagious for sure, his optimistic grin and the glint of excitement in his eyes. Very little actually gets the man down or makes him sad. Though he can go from happy to angry very easily, he very rarely goes from happy to sad. What’s there to be sad about? Anything lost could have been worse and there is always another day.
Smithing is the center of Rhouke’s life; in no other instance does the young man have such an intense state of control, calm and focus as when he is in the Smithy working on a project. It has been a part of his life since birth, it is something he enjoys more than anything and he could easily spend candlemarks and sevendays working on something. But don’t rush him; if you’re expecting something, give him his space and time. The more prodding a customer is the more frustrated and snappy he tends to get with them. He can even get downright rude and offensive, having exhibited irritable throwing of things and even shouting. He also reacts in a sort of way when his things are touched. Rhouke is very obsessive and attentive about his things; from his underwear to his Smithy gear he keeps everything meticulously clean and prefers to do all of it himself. He can be found in the laundry doing his own, cleaning his own room and obsessive over the state of his gear.
But overall Rhouke isn’t that bad of a fellow; if you can get past his high level of energy, footloose and fancy-free lifestyle and obsessive compulsive attention to his things.

Originally Igen WeyrRhouke was born to a stable and comfortable life, with parents that loved him and a comfortable home in Igen Hold. His father Vhruk was a master smith at the hold, a strong and gruff man with a steady hand and a very level head. His mother was a bit more of a ‘dreamer’, wilder at heart and more interested in excitement. Rhouke was born in the spring of 2032, 8th pass to a very proud father and exhausted mother. He spent his youth following his older brother and father around, badgering them asking ‘why?’ all of the time and getting himself into a mess of trouble wherever he went. He also managed to make time to drive his mother absolutely bonkers with question and pranks, mostly of strategically placed tunnelsnake skins and ‘mysterious’ misplacement of things.
When he turned 13 he gladly became an assistant smith, taking to it like a pig to mud and devoting himself nearly completely to his craft. His obsessive personality and oddly found extreme concentration was a godsend to his parents and he spent most of his youth paying strategic attention to everything he was taught and spending hours sweating in the shop until he perfect everything he was taught. His father was delighted at the Smith prodigy and paraded the boy’s work for all to see, much to the distaste of Rhouke’s peers. Rhouke was not particularly liked by his peers in Igen Hold in the 8th pass, even as he grew older. He easily transitioned into his Journeymanship at 20 with the prospects of someday perhaps becoming a Master, churning out work and finding new and creative ways of perfecting his craft.
It’s important to note the relationships that Rhouke has with his siblings. He absolutely adores his eldes brother H’rel, hanging on every word even to this day and doing whatever is asked of him without a question. H’rel is Rhouke’s hero. As for Aelka, he has a very protective and annoying older-brother kind of relationship with her even if she was only two turns younger than he was. Though she is far too sweet mannered and quiet to ever tell him off. Rhouke and Aelka are closest of all the children, keeping each other’s secrets and sharing all of their stories. Valehr on the other hand was more of a frustration for him, the two often arguing; Valehr was the epitome of his father with a level head and very calm manner. Rhouke’s wild and uninhibited personality tended to clash with the younger boy and they got into scrabbles often. They loved each other as siblings no doubt, but their frustrations with each other never seemed to cease. As for Kaeluh, Rhouke never spent much time with her; when she was old enough to become a Journeyman she left Igen for the healer hall and never bothered with the family much after. The other children followed H'rel to Igen Weyr when they were old enough, Rhouke taking his first leg as a Journeyman there. Valehr was searched and brough to stand as a candidate and not long after Aelka also joined them to further her healing craft.
But even as he grew older Rhouke began to look toward the horizon as if there was something he was missing. Something new he needed, wanting to move on and see somewhere new or something new. He didn’t particularly get along with most of the other smiths at Igen except for his father and after his older brother impressed to a blue dragon and was whisked away, he wanted even more to do something else. His younger siblings kept him somewhat busy but they just weren’t enough. He was living at the Weyr with three of his siblings when Lessa appeared from
between and the decision to jump
between time to the future to fight the falling Thread was made. The need for capable bodies was sent out to the Weyrs and the four siblings quickly agreed that they would make the jump. Their parents had each passed away within the previous five turns and with no contact to Kaeluh, the future seemed promising enough.
With his eyes tightly shut and his heart racing in horror at the idea of having to fly, Rhouke somehow managed the journey and the family members made it alive to the current 9th pass. They made the decision to settle in Fort Weyr, where they now currently reside. With Rhouke and Valehr fighting as usual, Aelka restlessly trying to calm them and H’rel simply watching over them with as much amusement as ever.
