• Blue or Greenriding Potential Wingleader
  
  • Minimum age: 38
  • Origins: Fort Weyr
  • This should be a blue or greenrider with the leadership potential and drive to become a Wingleader.  In our canon, all Wingleaders are bronzeriders, and most Wingseconds are brown or bronzeriders.  Fort has already bucked that tradition by having bluerider A'dair as a Wingsecond (and former Weyrsecond).  A blue or greenrider who wants to be named Wingleader would be a significant plot character.  Expectations for this character would be 2-3 IC posts per week, and the plot to become a Wingleader would unfold over time.
  • If you decide to pursue this, please make note in your character bio somewhere that this is the position you're creating a character to fill.  There may be several potential characters floating around for this, so please keep in mind that it is not a guarantee that your character will be named a Wingleader.
• Brownriders, Blueriders, and Greenriders
  
  • Minimum age: 20
  • Origins: Fort Weyr
  • All dragons that came from the Eighth Interval needed to be at least two Turns old in Turn 2508.  Additional dragons can be created from any of our Clutches since timing it: http://www.thepernese.com/index.php?board=72.0.
  • Crafters-turned-riders distressed about being ceremoniously stripped of any Craft standing, and/or riders that are displeased with the current leadership.  Please see this post for details.

  • Minimum age: 30
  • Dragon color: Brown, blue, or green
  • Note that Kh'mic and T'bin serve as co-Weyrlingmasters
• Weyrlings
  
  • Minimum age: 16
  • Dragon color: Brown, blue, or green
  • Origins: Fort Weyr
  • Weyrlings from Zynkawraith's and Mirkath's Clutch are available, having Impressed in Month 10 of Turn 2510.

  • Apprentice Healers and Harpers will only be accepted as living at their crafthalls; there is no point to having them posted to the Weyr instead of being sent the few miles away to study at the Hall.

  • Age range: 16-23
  • Candidates making a choice between Crafting or Standing.  Please see this post for details.
  • We do not have a date for our next Hatching, but it will probably be in Autumn 2013.  Any newly-created Candidates will need to have been Searched (at the latest) during Month 10 of Turn 2510, as Candidates for Zynkawraith's and Mirkath's Hatching.
  • On-camera Searches will be available only after we have our next mating Flight, probably in the late summer/early autumn IRL.

Closed Positions

• Goldriders - Closed currently.
• Bronzeriders - Closed currently.
• Wingleaders - Closed currently.
• Blooded Characters - Relations of any Lord, Lady, Craftmaster, Weyrwoman, or Weyrleader (with the exception of any offered in the wanted characters post above).
• Characters Under 16 Turns - To make life easier, the minimum age for going IC is 16.
• "Hear All Dragons" - None available at this time.
• Stands Impressions - None available at this time.
• Characters from Benden Weyr - Closed.
• Triplets+ - No multiple births higher than twins.
• Firelizards - Firelizards are rare and hard to come by. Currently, no firelizards are allowed except through on-camera Impression and events.
• Wherhandlers - Our whers are more like those in the early books, flightless and photophobic with minimal intelligence. While whers are used at the Holds for security and each Hold has a small number of wherhandlers, they are not available as PCs.
• "Big" or "Small" Dragons - Dragons outside the size limitations for their color (see this post [click] for details) are currently capped. You'll have to stay within your color's constraints for now.
• Not at the Weyr - Characters that do not live at Fort Weyr (or Southern Weyr), or will not be moving there in the immediate future (e.g., awaiting an on-camera Search).
