...STRENGTHS...- Her self confidence
- Her willingness to work in any weather
- Her body, and using it to get what she wants
- Her numerical and literacy skills, she had a special interest in the breeding side of beastcrafting, so being able to track pedigrees and the like was very important
- Her attention to detail while keeping records, with some of the herdbeast and runners names being very similar, and sometimes using numbers to recognise calves and foals, it was very important that names were spelt correctly, and numbers were exactly right

...PERSONALITY...Denys is, above all else, confident in herself. It is not arogance exactly, although perhaps it comes across that way at times, but put simply - she knows what she is, and she knows what she isn't. She calls it realistic, and if anyone questions her about it she will ask why she shouldn't be allowed to make honest judgements about herself - she after all, knows herself far better then anyone else. She recognises her flaws as well as she recognises her strengths, however she tries to put emphasis on her strengths and not let herself get too upset by her failings - no-one is perfect after all... and it takes all sorts to make the world go around, right?
Not manipulative, per se, Denys does however knows that she is pretty and she isn't above utelising that fact to her advantage. As long as she isn't deliberately hurting someone, she doesn't understand the harm. That said, if someone is hurt indirectly by her actions, she isn't always the quickest to say sorry - she thinks it, and feels it, but she sometimes struggles to overcome her guilt/embarressment enough to face the person and admit it. Which probably doesn't win her any favours with the person she's inadvertantly hurt.
Very dedicated to her craft, Denys genuinely enjoys her time spend with the runners and herdbeasts - she would admit (to herself and another beastcrafter) that the latter don't have as much character, leading to some bias perhaps, but - if any non-beastcrafter was to say as much she'd leap to the herdbeasts defence in a heartbeat. That said, as happy as she is throwing herself into even the messiest of jobs, Denys does love the end of her day (and rest days!) and delights in the opportunity to get really clean, dress up in something really pretty, and when the opportunity allows - let her hair down so to speak.
Equally happy in a large group of people, or a small one, Denys does however like to spent her free time with
someone, beastcrafting can be a little isolated at times, and so as she figures it - she has to balance this out by spending lots of time with people when she isn't crafting. Not ever minute of everyday perhaps, but, it would be rare to see her willingly sitting on her own during a meal for example. During the day she tends to stick with the other beastcrafters (aware that sometimes, a smell you and the other crafters don't notice, other people really do), but in the evening meals - well - pretty much anyone is fair game, as long as they don't glare at her the second she approaches them - she's sociable, but she's not interested in annoying people who really don't want the company... why waste her time and theirs?
Beastcrafthall born and bred, Denys knew from day one that following in her fathers footsteps was what she wanted to do with her life. As soon as she could walk, and get away with it, Denys was trailing after her father and older brother whenever they would let her (Which wasn't half as often as she would have liked), and no-one in the family was surprised when she apprenticed into the craft herself at the slightly young age of eleven turns (by which time she'd been trying to get herself apprenticed for turns!).
Her studying itself was fairly uneventful, the basics of a lot of the things she was taught weren't new to her, but Denys usually found something new to learn in each lesson - picked up on some of the more detailed things that she hadn't noticed or known before. With the exception of calving/foaling times, when she practically lived in the stalls/stables, Denys was never a student to not take time off -- she always attended classes, and required chores, but she wasn't one to spend all her free time working as well. Born and raised at the Hall, she had enough friends locally to have plenty of non beastcrafter things to do outside of her 'required time'.
At something of an advantage given her previous knowledge, but not as advantaged as she could have been had she been one of those overly dedicated students, Denys walked the tables to Journeywoman at seventeen turns. Her early postings were all local ones, Nerat Hold (to help with their plough animals) being the furthest away of these early posting. Her first long term posting was to a Beast Hold just outside Southern Boll Hold, where she was sent just after she turned nineteen. This is where she is currently posted (and where her sister joined her not to long later), although having been sent to a Hold near Fort Hold with a delivery of herdbeast, and her companion suggesting they detour back via Fort Hold she has found herself a little caught up in the drama there.
...SEARCH DETAILS...On camera, please, although, I don't OOC-ly want for her to impress this clutch - so it's okay if the OOC deadline is missed. I do want her to be there by the hatching though, so she can be left standing (bless her).
