The Eighth Interval

2058	M6, D8	Lessa and Ramoth arrive between times, delirious and sick.
2058	M7, D11	Lessa dies from her delirium; the riders of the Eighth Interval agree to make the jump between times to the start of the Ninth Pass, taking it in 50 Turn leaps.
2483	Spring	Grogellan of Fort dies.  His son, Groghe, succeeds him as Lord Holder.
2485	M2, D22	Lord Groghe of Fort names his son by his third wife (Lady Benoria) as his Heir, passing over his eldest son, Mikhen.
2498	M4	"Timing it" back from Turn 2508, F'nor and T'bor of Benden Weyr establish what will become Southern Weyr.  Dragonets from Ramoth's Clutch in Turn 2508 are sent back in time to mature - including Kylara and gold Prideth.
2500	--	Still "timing it," Kylara's gold Prideth rises at Southern Weyr.  A Clutch of 32 is laid.
2502	M4	With dragons from Prideth's Clutch now mature, Southern Weyr is largely abandoned.  A crew of approximately 100 people and 10 dragons remain behind to keep the Weyr from falling into disrepair.  They are completely isolated from the rest of the world, and their existence is kept secret until Turn 2508.
2505	M3, D28	Lessa Impresses Ramoth, the last queen.

The Ninth Pass - Turn 1

2508	M1, D1	Rukbat balances on the Finger Rock at dawn with the Red Star bracketed by the Eye Rock - the sign of a Pass.
2508	M4, D7	Thread falls over Nerat.
2508	M4, D8	The dragons and riders of Ramoth's first Clutch, as well as approximately 150 "Candidate-aged" youths and approximately 100 support personnel, time it back to Turn 2498 to establish Southern Weyr.
2508	M4, D9	Those sent in back in time to Southern Weyr return.  Four Turns have elapsed for them, but only one day for the rest of the world.  They also leave behind approximately 100 people and 10 dragons to maintain Southern Weyr. Lessa makes her jump between times.  A few hours later, the riders of the Eighth Interval arrive in the Ninth Pass; an envoy from Fort Weyr is sent to Benden Weyr to alert them.
2508	M4, D10	A meeting of the surviving Weyrleaders is held at Benden Weyr to re-balance the dragon population, providing transfers to different Weyrs that have a decreased population after the jump through time.  It is also agreed that Benden Weyr will establish a Flight (three Wings) at Southern Weyr to maintain the headland against Thread.
2508	M4, D11	F'lar is killed in threadfall.  Goldrider Sorilea arrives from Ista Weyr at Fort Weyr, her new assignment.
2508	M4, D12	Goldrider Maeyi arrives from High Reaches Weyr at Fort Weyr, meeting with Sorilea.
2508	M4, D14	The remaining leadership of Fort Weyr meets to determine how best to proceed.  Interim leadership is decided.
2508	M4, D16	Threadfall, lead by S'rev's Wing, is met over Fort Hold.  Eleven riders are killed, and fourteen more are injured.
2508	M5, D2	Bedella's gold Solth rises at Telgar Weyr, the first goldflight since the jump between times.
2508	M5, D4	Thread falls over Fort Weyr, lead by C'sius.  Two are killed, but injuries are not as severe as the last Fall.
2508	M5, D24	Several tithe trains arrive at Fort Weyr during months 4 and 5 to begin stocking it, including one from Fort Hold.
2508	M7, D1	The first day of Summer.
2508	M8, D9	Bedella's gold Solth, of Telgar Weyr, Clutches at Fort Weyr.  A deal brokered between the two Weyrs offers an exchange of Solth's Clutch of Fort's tithes.  Over the course of three days, Solth Clutches 37 eggs.
2508	M9, D10	Solth's eggs Hatch.  A feast is held afterward in the living cavern.
2508	M10, D1	The first day of Autumn.
2508	M10, D2	Thread falls over Southern Boll Hold, with one casualty and a few injuries.  The Fall is lead by H'dral.  Afterward, the riders convene back at Fort Weyr.
2508	M11, D7	A Gather is held at Fort Hold to celebrate Lord Groghe's Turnday.
2508	M13, D14	Gold Ianth rises first, making Sorilea Senior Weyrwoman, and V'turo of bronze Kavath the Weyrleader.

2509	M1, D4	Mikhen, the disinherited eldest son of Lord Groghe, lays siege to Fort Hold, killing Lord Groghe and capturing his Heir, Haighe.
2509	M1, D6	Drums at sunset announce the death of Masterharper Robinton.
2509	M1, D7	A messenger arrives from Harper Hall to notify the Weyr about the siege of Fort and Robinton's death.
2509	M2, D2	Several people are smuggled out of Fort Hold, to safety at Harper Hall.  Sorilea learns that Luka has vision problems and grounds her.
2509	M3, D23	Ianth Clutches 34 eggs at Fort Weyr.
2509	M4, D1	The first day of Spring.
2509	M4, D4	The young queen Veydath rises at Benden Weyr, usurping Kylara and making Jasme the Weyrwoman, with the veteran S'vras of bronze Optinetath as Weyrleader.
2509	M4, D14	The weyrlings from Solth's Clutch are trained to go between (with the exception of Luka and gold Ariyamuth).
2509	M4, D21	Thread falls over Ruatha Hold.  Among others, N'teri of brown Daigeth dies in Fall.

2509	M5, D1	On the day when the Conclave is meant to meet, the riders of Fort assist in liberating Fort Hold from Mikhen.

2510	M4, D16	Maeyi leaves Fort Weyr, returning to High Reaches Weyr.  Ista Weyr sends Shaynun of gold Zynkawraith.  Sorilea "resigns" as Weyrwoman.
2510	M6, D15	The newly arrived gold Zynkawraith rises.  Shaynun of Ista is Weyrwoman of Fort; T'raev of bronze Mirkath is Weyrleader.
2510	M7, D1	The first day of Summer.  Word begins coming back to the Weyr that the Holds will have to lighten their tithes in response to an ongoing drought.
2510	M7, D2	T'raev leads his first Fall as Weyrleader over Southern Boll.
2510	M7, D15	T'raev and Shaynun discuss the Southern Continent as a way to alleviate Fort's lack of tithes during the drought.

2511	M1, D17	The Holders' Conclave grants the title of Lord to Toric of Southern Hold.  Talk begins of establishing Southern Weyr as an autonomous Weyr.
2511	M1, D27	The Wings of Fort Weyr relax and recuperate at Southern Weyr after Threadfall.
2511	M3, D25	Fort Weyr sends Luka of gold Ariyamuth, while Benden Weyr sends Suzet of gold Hradith, to Southern Weyr.
2511	M4, D1	Fort Weyr officially stops flying Threadfalls over Southern Weyr, and is no longer allowed to hunt or harvest in the protectorate.
