A drought has lasted for more than a Turn in the Fortian region. Although cold, the weather remains dry, with very little snowfall. The water-level in the lake is low, and the lower caverns are now rationing non-essential water (for bathing, laundry, et cetera).

Okay, I am back from my really long vacation and stuff, and I have a really long list of post that haven't posted in quite awhile. I am thinking that maybe a fresh start with all new post might be in order, but I am willing to finish anything that needs to be finished.  You'll want to take care of a few things now. First, go to the Face Claim post and post your played-by/face claim. If this is a dragonrider character, you can also add your dragon to the dragon size chart. You'll also probably want to go to the Plotting forum to rummage around for threads. You can also introduce your self over at the Introductions thread. And, of course, join the roleplay! You may want to join Thread Roulette if you're looking for a quick way to get random threads, or join any of the open threads listed under "Roleplay" at the top of the index page of the forum.

Days 2, Month 2, Turn 2, Ninth Pass A general order went out through the ranks and files of Fort Weyr that Fort’s newest goldrider has been grounded to the Bowl. Reinforced by Ianth, all Fort Dragons have been banned from giving Ariyamuth any visualizations. It was also noticed that it wasn’t long after that than the Weyrlingmaster Signy was called to the Senior Weyrwomen’s weyr. No one is sure what happened during their “chat” but it is rumored that Sorilea requested that Signy resign. And to top it all off, it is rumored that Luka was prevented from being granted the “Senior Weyrling” rank with the others. It wasn’t long after all that, a new order went out that all candidates must summit themselves to a physical and would need to be cleared by a Healer before they would be allowed to stand. Within the first few days, 5 candidates where sent back home by the Healer for one reason or another. What does that mean for the rest of them? But the question on everyone’s mind is has Sorliea gone crazy as everyone had feared?

I also have K'ten that is a closet gay. I am not sure yet if that can be very useful, but being a former Jr. Weaver, he is really good at making clothing. And could be bought to make something if the price is right.

Nydia up until a few months ago was also a Healer. She was searched out of the Hall instead of the Weyr though. That being said, she hasn't given up on the Healing craft yet and will most likely visit the Infirmary often.
