I'd be up for any of these, though I may be a little bit slow in participating.

Ninth Pass Winter, Turn 2511 Months 1-3 A drought has lasted for more than a Turn in the Fortian region. Although cold, the weather remains dry, with very little snowfall. The water-level in the lake is low, and the lower caverns are now rationing non-essential water (for bathing, laundry, et cetera). ![]() |

Big-time suck, AND IT GETS BETTER. The baby shower went well and we had fun, but guess who also gets to do jury duty this month now too?

Between Wil'm and Gi'an he's likely to go with Gi'an because he's older and more experienced. Give Will a couple more Turns and we'll see.
![]() But if you're still up for this, Tegz, then I reckon Gi'an is a Wingsecond now. We can do a fuzzy timed promotion post if you want to.

Cause I figure you guys need a head's up on this stuff.
Short term: this weekend is my brother's girlfriend's baby shower so I probably won't be around overmuch until possibly late evening Sunday. Long-term: we are apparently moving. x.x I loathe moving with the passionate burning of a thousand fiery suns. We're aiming to have this whole thing done/mostly done by the first week of June, so if I suddenly drop off the radar for a day or two it's probably related to that. Things will, of course, be even more hectic once we get closer to June and in the middle of getting everything hauled over to the new place, but up until then I am going to endeavor to keep up with things as best I can. But yes. If I vanish unexpectedly for a few days at a time it's probably related to this in some fashion. I will, however, return, because I love you guys and this place and you're stuck with me forever and ever. <3 6

I'm cool with this.
Do need to get my butt in gear and solidify a Wingsecond for C'sius, but I'd be up for a thread like this one.

I half want to do something with T'raev and G'brihl since G'brihl certainly isn't his biggest fan (and is stuck in his Wing to boot) but I'm not quite sure what.

Just don't ever mention that one time that Wytheria said Ailora would totally bang Aylin's dad. ^_________^

Thanks guys!
He still makes me happy and giddy because KaiserFlames does do absolutely spectacular dragon arts and I'm so thrilled by this I just can't. XD(And browns are totally the bestest. *brofist for Sheep*) 11

I need people to squee at, and since this is Pern related I figure I can squee at you guys and you'll understand.
So, back in December one of my most awesomest friends sent me this picture in an email: ![]() Yes, that is a dragon egg. And naturally my curiosity was piqued. But it wasn't until today that she was able to send me the rest of my present, which I am going to link to because it's big. Photobucket does scale it some, but the full res image is probably four times bigger than my 22" computer monitor. Click me! SHE MADE ME A DRAGON GUYS! She commissioned KaiserFlame to draw me my very own brown dragon and gave him a personality and wrote me a hatching post and everything! ISN'T HE HANDSOME? ISN'T SHE AWESOME?! ;_; His name is Bayarth and this is the description she wrote for him: "Bayarth was named for a 16th-century French knight, who was reknowned for his valour and purity of heart. Bayarth has the type of character that one would expect of, perhaps, a soldier or a firefighter. He is selfless and sociable, a font of strength and camaraderie, the face of a true hero and leader, the man with an assult rifle in one hand and a kitten in the other. His greatest ambition in life is to help people by any means that he is able to, whether by saving lives or just being there to listen when someone is troubled. It is this purity of purpose, however, that is also his greatest burden. Unlike so many others, he has never sought out the limelight while working himself to the bone; people may know his face, but they don’t know his name. He is, for lack of a better term, an unsung hero. But Bayarth does not need the thanks of others to know that his blood, sweat and tears have made the world a better place. He is happy just to know that others are happy; it is their joy that pushes him ever onward." EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! \o/ I may have to adopt one of our brown Weyrlings and bring Bayarth to the game guys because omg I love him to bits! *hugs and hugs and hugs and hugs* 12
Plotting / Re: Imogen's Return« on: April 13, 2013, 09:40:00 AM »
I'm gonna guess that, because this:
"Not at the Weyr - Characters that do not live at Fort Weyr (or Southern Weyr), or will not be moving there in the immediate future (e.g., awaiting an on-camera Search)." is currently in the Closed Character Concepts list that the intent is to keep play fairly localized at Fort Weyr. And there really aren't all that many PC characters anywhere BUT Fort Weyr, with the exception of... I think two? So if you're looking to keep Imogen active I think your best bet would be to bring her back to the Weyr. 13
